4 Keys to Mastering the Art of Teaching College Courses Online

Hello There, Fellow Higher Educator!

Do you feel like transferring your teaching prowess from the face-to-face (F2F) classroom to the digital space is a little tricky and sometimes frustrating?

Would you like a simple, strategic plan on how to become a master facilitator who actually enjoys the distance learning experience?

Perhaps, you would just appreciate a little training on how you can do some things you do well, even better.

Well, you are in the right place because I have created a systematic approach to mastering the art of teaching online rooted in just FOUR essential skills or activities.

You might even think of them as "responsibilities" if you want to be technical. Either way, I know for a fact that if you focus on just these four skills, over time, you will design and deliver courses that your students love to take and that you love to teach.

Wouldn't that be grand?

Now, What Will You Learn?

In this course, you will learn how to facilitate, assess, communicate, and empower in such a way that doing so will soon become effortless. You will have a method to what can sometimes feel like "madness." (Let's be honest.)

The focus questions that you will answer confidently, by the end of the course are--

How do I make learning easy for my students? (FACILITATE)

How do I gather information about instruction and intervention for my students? How do I measure, evaluate, and document students' progress? (ASSESS)

How do I convey information, expectations, tips, encouragement, and support? (COMMUNICATE)

How do I give my students the power to take ownership of their learning? How do I allow myself to support them in a rewarding way? (EMPOWER)

Ultimately, you will always have this self-assessment standard that helps you be great!

But, Why Should You Listen to Me?

I have been in the trenches designing and teaching the courses that I designed since 2004. In fact, I have designed and taught nine courses for an early childhood education program since that time, and I remember how thrilled but nervous I was when I embarked on this brand new journey of distance education-- a journey I never dreamed of taking.

I remember being confident in what I knew about teaching future teachers but so scared that the technology and the virtual walls would sabotage my zeal and deny my students an enjoyable experience.

Honestly, the first three years, I did not enjoy teaching online. But, I kept tweaking things here and there. Since curriculum and instruction are my pride and joy, I kept changing this and trying that. I learned from my mistakes and got better and better each year.

Today, I LOVE teaching online, and I want you to love it, too. Plus, I know that your students deserve to feel and see you in all of your "higher educating" glory. They deserve your very best.

So, take this course knowing that what you are getting here is not just something I read about in a book, learned in a workshop, pulled from a conference. These strategies and techniques are tried and true by someone who has a whole lot of "skin in the game."

And, I am ready to shorten your learning curve and help you see what a blessing it is to be able to "teach from anywhere" and do it in excellence.

So, Enough About Me...

It is all about you!

Accept this very precious gift that I am offering and enroll right now.

It is time to master the art of teaching online.
